What is the Olive Oil Times Guide?
It’s a comprehensive guide to the world’s olive oils. Each olive oil brand has its own page complete with producer information, production methods, tasting notes, suggested food pairings, accolades, a link to the producer’s website and retail outlets where consumers can buy products.
Our editors are in the process of adding to the guide hundreds of olive oils that have already been submitted by producers throughout the world. If you are an olive oil producer and would like your product included in the guide for free, submit your product information here.
Where does the information come from?
All of the information in the guide is provided by the producers themselves. The information is not checked by our editors for factual accuracy, however we will shorten submissions that are unnecessarily lengthy or excessively promotional. The point of the guide is not to present a series of advertisements, but to enable producers to speak directly to consumers who want to discover new tastes and learn about the many varieties of olive oil in the world.
We are trying to correct typos and grammatical errors as much as possible, but the priority now is working through the queue of submissions and posting them quickly. Our editors will begin to proofread the index when we have caught up with the submissions.
Our company has eight olive oil brands. Do we submit each one separately?
Right now we are allowing one free brand submission per producer. If you would like to submit more, you can choose the “priority” option on the submission form and pay the small fee for each additional brand submission.
I submitted my olive oil a long time ago and I don’t see it anywhere. What happened?
We’re still working through the many submissions we received. Please give it another few days and check again. You can also send us an email and we’ll confirm your position in the queue.
