The 2010 Sonoma County Harvest Fair announced the winners of its extra virgin olive oil competition. Ferrari-Carano Vineyards Vintners Inn Estate Olive Oil was the winner of the contest’s Best of Show award.
47 olive oils were entered this year, up from 37 in 2009. The oils were judged in three categories: olive oils made from olives grown in Sonoma County, those from California and flavored oils from California.
The judging took place on June 11 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
