Agrícola Sant Isidre i S.C. de Juncosa SCCL, a Catalonian agri­cul­tural coop­er­a­tive, has been awarded a Gold Award at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The coop­er­a­tive’s Les Cabanes extra vir­gin olive oil, made from the Arbequina cul­ti­var, was rec­og­nized for its qual­ity at the pres­ti­gious event.

Founded in 1919, Agrícola Sant Isidre i S.C. de Juncosa SCCL is based in Spain and com­prises 140 pro­duc­ers com­mit­ted to sus­tain­able agri­cul­ture. The coop­er­a­tive has been ded­i­cated to pro­duc­ing high-qual­ity prod­ucts while pre­serv­ing the land.

The Les Cabanes olive oil has ben­e­fited from the coop­er­a­tive’s mod­ern­ized pro­duc­tion facil­i­ties. Since 2010, the coop­er­a­tive has oper­ated a new mill equipped with advanced machin­ery, enhanc­ing the safety and effi­ciency of its pro­duc­tion processes.

The World Olive Oil Competition is a sig­nif­i­cant event in the olive oil indus­try, attract­ing entries from pro­duc­ers world­wide. The recog­ni­tion of Les Cabanes at this com­pe­ti­tion under­scores the coop­er­a­tive’s com­mit­ment to qual­ity and sus­tain­able prac­tices in olive oil pro­duc­tion.
