The Agricultural Cooperative of Molaoi-Pakia, located in Molaoi, Monemvasia, Greece, has been rec­og­nized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The coop­er­a­tive’s M‑P Gold extra vir­gin olive oil, made from the Koroneiki cul­ti­var, earned a Silver Award at the pres­ti­gious event.

The Agricultural Cooperative of Molaoi-Pakia is a col­lec­tive of 445 mem­ber-pro­duc­ers who con­tribute to the pro­duc­tion of an aver­age of 2,000 tons of extra vir­gin olive oil annu­ally. The coop­er­a­tive is sit­u­ated in the region of Laconia, known for its olive oil pro­duc­tion.

The NYIOOC is the largest and most respected olive oil con­test glob­ally, attract­ing entries from pro­duc­ers world­wide. The recog­ni­tion of M‑P Gold at the World Olive Oil Competition high­lights the qual­ity of olive oil pro­duced by the coop­er­a­tive in Greece.

The award-win­ning M‑P Gold is noted for its pro­duc­tion in Laconia, a region with a long-stand­ing tra­di­tion of olive cul­ti­va­tion. The coop­er­a­tive’s achieve­ment at the NYIOOC under­scores the sig­nif­i­cance of Greek olive oil in the inter­na­tional mar­ket.
