Brief
Azienda Agricola Carroccia Campodimele, a family-run business from Italy, has won a Silver Award at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The producer, known for its organic Itrana olives, has now achieved five consecutive wins at the competition, with one award each year since 2022.
The winning entry, Carroccia Campodimele Itrana, is produced from Itrana olives harvested manually in early October. The olives are cold-pressed, and the entire production process is plastic-free, reflecting the producer’s commitment to sustainable practices.
Orlando Carroccia, co-owner of the estate, expressed satisfaction with the recognition, stating that the quality of their organic olive oil has been acknowledged internationally. The estate is located in Campodimele, south of Rome, a region known for the longevity of its inhabitants, which is partly attributed to their diet rich in extra virgin olive oil.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world’s most prestigious olive oil quality contest. The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
