BearBird Ranch, located in San Luis Obispo County, California, has been rec­og­nized at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The ranch received a Silver Award for its Frantoio cul­ti­var.

BearBird Ranch is sit­u­ated amidst the grass­lands and rolling hills of San Luis Obispo County. The ranch is home to over 600 olive trees and focuses on pro­duc­ing extra vir­gin olive oil. The ranch grows Italian olive vari­eties, includ­ing Leccino, Coratina, Pendolino, Maurino, and Frantoio.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is an annual event that eval­u­ates olive oils from around the world. BearBird Ranch’s recog­ni­tion at the com­pe­ti­tion high­lights its efforts in cul­ti­vat­ing and pro­duc­ing olive oil in the United States.

The win­ning brands are pre­sented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
