Recent News

Bodega Nekeas, located in the Nekeas Valley of Spain, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The producer secured a Gold Award for its Nekeas Arroniz and a Silver Award for Nekeas Arbequina.

The Nekeas Arroniz, which earned the Gold Award, is an organic extra virgin olive oil made from 100 percent Arróniz olives. This monovarietal oil is native to the north of Navarre, highlighting the unique characteristics of the region’s olive cultivation.

In addition, the Nekeas Arbequina received a Silver Award. This extra virgin olive oil is crafted from 100 percent Arbequina olives and is described as mild and fruity with green notes and hints of tomato.

Bodega Nekeas is known for its meticulous control over every stage of production, ensuring high-quality olive oils from the Nekeas Valley, a region noted for its distinctive olive cultivation due to its northerly location on the Iberian Peninsula.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
