Recent News

Bonolio, one of Italy’s largest producers of 100-percent organic extra virgin olive oil, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The company, founded by the Bono family in 1934, received Gold Awards for its Bono PDO Val Di Mazara 100% Organic and Bono PDO Val di Mazara olive oils.

The Bono PDO Val Di Mazara 100% Organic, which won a Gold Award, is noted for its unmistakable aroma and flavor. This organic oil is crafted from a blend of Biancolilla and Cerasuola varieties, sourced from central Sicily.

Another Gold Award was given to the Bono PDO Val di Mazara, a blend that also boasts a distinctive aroma and flavor. This olive oil is produced from a careful selection of the best extra virgin olive oils from the PDO Val Di Mazara region in Sicily.

Additionally, Bonolios Bono olive oil received a Silver Award. This product is 100 percent organic and made from premium Italian olives, cultivated without the use of pesticides or herbicides.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
