The company, founded by the Bono family in 1934, received Gold Awards for its Bono PDO Val Di Mazara 100% Organic and Bono PDO Val di Mazara olive oils.
The Bono PDO Val Di Mazara 100% Organic, which won a Gold Award, is noted for its unmistakable aroma and flavor. This organic oil is crafted from a blend of Biancolilla and Cerasuola varieties, sourced from central Sicily.
Another Gold Award was given to the Bono PDO Val di Mazara, a blend that also boasts a distinctive aroma and flavor. This olive oil is produced from a careful selection of the best extra virgin olive oils from the PDO Val Di Mazara region in Sicily.
Additionally, Bonolio’s Bono olive oil received a Silver Award. This product is 100 percent organic and made from premium Italian olives, cultivated without the use of pesticides or herbicides.
