Recent News

Buraschi Societa’ Semplice Agricola, an esteemed olive oil producer from Italy, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The company received a Silver Award for its Buraschi Frantoio dal 1966, an organic extra virgin olive oil.

The NYIOOC, known for its rigorous standards, is one of the most prestigious competitions in the olive oil industry. Buraschi Frantoio dal 1966 was crafted from carefully selected olives in Montepulciano and expertly milled between the end of September through December.

Founded in 1966 by Otello Buraschi, the Frantoio Buraschi has grown under the leadership of Otello’s daughters, Alessandra and Emanuela. The company operates its mill from September to November, focusing on harvesting olives at the right degree of veraison to ensure quality.

The World Olive Oil Competition’s recognition of Buraschi Societa’ Semplice Agricola underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards in olive oil production.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
