Cobram Estate, a pro­ducer known for its high-qual­ity extra vir­gin olive oils, has been rec­og­nized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, secur­ing three sil­ver awards. The com­pe­ti­tion, a pres­ti­gious event in the olive oil indus­try, high­lighted Cobram Estate’s suc­cess­ful expan­sion into the United States, specif­i­cally in California’s Sacramento Valley.

The award-win­ning entries from Cobram Estate include the Everyday Essentials Robust, which fea­tures the Coratina cul­ti­var, noted for its spicy, fruity, and leafy fla­vor pro­file with medium bit­ter­ness and pun­gency. Another sil­ver award was given to the Cobram Estate California Select, which includes the Arbequina cul­ti­var among other unique vari­eties such as Picual and Coratina.

Additionally, the Everyday Essentials Mild, also fea­tur­ing the Arbequina cul­ti­var, received a sil­ver award. This vari­ety is char­ac­ter­ized by its sweet­ness, clean palate, low bit­ter­ness, and slight pun­gency.
