Cobram Estate Achieves Success at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Recent News

Cobram Estate, an olive oil producer with roots in Australia, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The company, which expanded its operations to the United States in 2014, secured three silver awards for its products.

The winning entries include Cobram Estate Everyday Essentials Mild, Cobram Estate California Select, and Cobram Estate Everyday Essentials Robust. Each of these products was awarded a silver medal at the competition.

Cobram Estate Everyday Essentials Mild, made from the Arbequina cultivar, is noted for its sweetness and clean palate, with low bitterness and slight pungency. The California Select, also featuring the Arbequina cultivar, is part of the Select range that includes unique varieties such as Picual and Coratina.

The Everyday Essentials Robust, crafted from the Coratina cultivar, is recognized for its spicy, fruity, and leafy flavor profile, with medium bitterness and pungency.

Cobram Estate’s operations in the Sacramento Valley benefit from California’s fertile soil and Mediterranean climate, which contribute to the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil for the US market. The company’s achievements at the World Olive Oil Competition highlight its commitment to quality and excellence in olive oil production.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
