Recent News

Coccinella, the U.S. distributor of Oleavia olive oil from Turkey, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The company’s Oleavia South Aegean Special was awarded a Silver Award, underscoring its quality and craftsmanship.

The NYIOOC, known as one of the most prestigious olive oil competitions globally, evaluates entries from producers worldwide. Coccinella’s winning entry, the Oleavia South Aegean Special, is crafted by blending oils from three distinct single-estate farms. Two of these farms cultivate Memecik olives, while the third features Ayvalik olives.

Coccinella emphasizes the meticulous process of producing olive oil to maintain its fresh taste and quality. The company aims to offer an organic process and superior quality each year. The recognition at the World Olive Oil Competition highlights the company’s commitment to these principles.

As a distributor based in the United States, Coccinella continues to bring Turkish olive oil to the American market, showcasing the diverse flavors and quality of the region’s olive production.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
