Coccinella's Oleavia Wins Silver at NYIOOC

Recent News

Coccinella, the U.S. distributor of premium Turkish olive oil Oleavia, has been recognized at the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) with a Silver Award for its Oleavia South Aegean Special. This award highlights the meticulous production process and quality of the olive oil distributed by Coccinella.

The Oleavia South Aegean Special is crafted by blending oils from three distinct single-estate farms in Turkey. Two of these farms feature Memecik olives, while the third utilizes Ayvalik olives. This careful selection and blending process contribute to the unique characteristics of the Oleavia South Aegean Special.

Coccinella emphasizes the importance of maintaining the fresh taste and quality of its olive oil through an organic production process. The recognition at the NYIOOC underscores the company’s commitment to offering superior quality olive oil each year.

The NYIOOC is the most prestigious olive oil competition globally, attracting entries from producers worldwide. The Silver Award for Oleavia South Aegean Special is a testament to the high standards upheld by Coccinella in distributing Turkish olive oil in the United States.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
