Creta Oil Botzakis Recognized at 2025 NYIOOC

Creta Oil Botzakis, based in Crete, Greece, has been rec­og­nized at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The com­pany received a Silver Award for its extra vir­gin olive oil brand, Tassos.

Founded in 1986, Creta Oil Botzakis is known for its mod­ern and inte­grated mills located in cen­tral Crete. The com­pany is one of Greece’s lead­ing agri­cul­tural pro­duc­ers and food com­pa­nies, focus­ing on qual­ity prod­ucts.

The Tassos extra vir­gin olive oil, which won the Silver Award, is made from the Koroneiki cul­ti­var. According to the com­pe­ti­tion notes, Tassos sits at the inter­sec­tion of tra­di­tion and excel­lence.

Creta Oil Botzakis con­tin­ues to uphold its prin­ci­ples of offer­ing qual­ity prod­ucts, con­tribut­ing to its recog­ni­tion in the olive oil indus­try.

The win­ning brands are pre­sented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
