Recent News

Il Cavallino, a producer of extra virgin olive oil based in Bibbona, Italy, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The competition is a significant event in the olive oil industry, highlighting quality and innovation.

Il Cavallino received a Gold Award for its Special Edition olive oil. This product features the Leccio del Corno variety, a fruit that is unique to the Tuscany region. The award underscores the distinctiveness of this cultivar.

Additionally, Il Cavallino’s Biologico olive oil earned a Silver Award. This organic extra virgin olive oil is made exclusively from olives grown according to organic farming principles.

Romina Salvadori, along with her family, leads the production at Il Cavallino. The company is situated on the Tuscan coast south of Livorno, an area with a long-standing tradition of olive growing.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
