Melissa Kikizas SA, a third-gen­er­a­tion Greek fam­ily com­pany, has achieved sig­nif­i­cant recog­ni­tion at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The com­pany secured three Gold Awards for its Terra Creta extra vir­gin olive oil prod­ucts.

The win­ning entries include Terra Creta, Terra Creta Organic, and Terra Creta Grand Cru, all of which are made from the Koroneiki cul­ti­var. Terra Creta is noted for being a fast-grow­ing, export-ori­ented com­pany based in Crete, spe­cial­iz­ing in the pro­duc­tion and export of qual­ity extra vir­gin olive oil.

Terra Creta Organic, another Gold Award recip­i­ent, is an organic extra vir­gin olive oil also made from the Koroneiki cul­ti­var. The Terra Creta Grand Cru, which also received a Gold Award, is high­lighted for its focus on qual­ity, trans­parency, and reli­a­bil­ity, with ver­ti­cally inte­grated facil­i­ties and strong ties with farm­ers.

Melissa Kikizas SA empha­sizes sus­tain­abil­ity and reduced envi­ron­men­tal impact in its pro­duc­tion processes. Through the Terra Creta Olive Academy, the com­pany col­lab­o­rates with farm­ers to enhance the qual­ity and quan­tity of its olive oil using envi­ron­men­tally friendly prac­tices.
