Olea Trading Achieves Recognition at NYIOOC for Olive Oil Excellence

Recent News

Olea Trading, the largest integrated farmer and producer of extra virgin olive oil and table olives in Morocco, has been recognized at the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) with a Silver Award for its Zouitina Prestige. This accolade highlights the company’s commitment to quality and excellence in olive oil production.

Zouitina Prestige, which earned the Silver Award, is crafted from the Picual cultivar. The olive oil benefits from a privileged terroir located next to the Atlas Mountains. Olea Trading ensures exquisite care of the grove throughout the year, maintaining a minimal period between harvesting and processing. The technical extraction and stabilization of the product are overseen by the company’s oil master, contributing to its award-winning quality.

Olea Trading’s operations are distinguished by their adherence to high standards. The company’s farms hold the Global GAP certification, and its two modern olive mills are accredited with IFS, BRC, KOSHER, HALAL, FDA, and BIO standards. With a production capacity of 500 tons per day, Olea Trading continues to set benchmarks in the olive oil industry.

This recognition at the NYIOOC underscores Olea Trading’s role as a leader in the production of premium olive oil, further solidifying Morocco’s position in the global olive oil market.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
