OPG Rakovac Secures Gold at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Croatian olive oil pro­ducer OPG Rakovac has achieved a sig­nif­i­cant acco­lade at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The fam­ily-run busi­ness was awarded a Gold for its Bilini extra vir­gin olive oil, a blend of Istrian and Italian cul­ti­vars, specif­i­cally the Frantoio vari­ety.

The NYIOOC, rec­og­nized as one of the most pres­ti­gious olive oil com­pe­ti­tions glob­ally, eval­u­ates entries from pro­duc­ers world­wide. OPG Rakovacs Bilini EVOO stood out among numer­ous sub­mis­sions, reflect­ing the ded­i­ca­tion and exper­tise of the Rakovac fam­ily in olive cul­ti­va­tion.

The Rakovac fam­ily has been cul­ti­vat­ing olives for 25 years, focus­ing on timely olive pick­ing and metic­u­lous grove man­age­ment to pro­duce high-qual­ity olive oil. This com­mit­ment to qual­ity has been acknowl­edged by the World Olive Oil Competition, fur­ther estab­lish­ing Croatia’s pres­ence in the inter­na­tional olive oil mar­ket.
