Croatian olive oil producer OPG Rakovac has achieved a significant accolade at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The family-run business was awarded a Gold for its Bilini extra virgin olive oil, a blend of Istrian and Italian cultivars, specifically the Frantoio variety.
The NYIOOC, recognized as one of the most prestigious olive oil competitions globally, evaluates entries from producers worldwide. OPG Rakovac’s Bilini EVOO stood out among numerous submissions, reflecting the dedication and expertise of the Rakovac family in olive cultivation.
The Rakovac family has been cultivating olives for 25 years, focusing on timely olive picking and meticulous grove management to produce high-quality olive oil. This commitment to quality has been acknowledged by the World Olive Oil Competition, further establishing Croatia’s presence in the international olive oil market.
