Treurer Wins Gold Award at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Treurer, a small fam­ily busi­ness located in Mallorca, Spain, has been awarded a Gold Award at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The award was given for their Treurer Arbequina extra vir­gin olive oil.

Treurer oper­ates on a 20-hectare estate in Mallorca, where they man­age 3,000 Arbequina olive trees. The com­pany pro­duces extra vir­gin olive oil using their own olive mill, ensur­ing con­trol over the entire pro­duc­tion process.

The win­ning entry, Treurer Arbequina, is made with 100 per­cent Arbequina olives and holds the Mallorca PDO cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. This recog­ni­tion high­lights the qual­ity of the olive oil pro­duced by Treurer on their estate.

In addi­tion to olive oil pro­duc­tion, Treurer also man­ages a small hotel on their prop­erty, offer­ing vis­i­tors the oppor­tu­nity to learn about the process of pro­duc­ing extra vir­gin olive oil first­hand.

The win­ning brands are pre­sented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
