The olive oil is produced in Köprübaşı, Manisa, using hand-picked Arbequina olives harvested early in October 2024. The production process involves cold-pressing and filtering, resulting in an extra virgin olive oil with 0.17 percent acidity and 331 ppm polyphenols.
Birsen Hanım Arbequina is noted for its distinctive flavor profile, which includes notes of green tomato and grass, accompanied by a light peppery finish. Its sharp aroma and slight burn may be unexpected for first-time users, but the low acidity and high antioxidant content offer notable health benefits.
