Brief
Laudemio Fattoria Le Sorgenti 2024, an extra virgin olive oil produced by Fattoria le Sorgenti, has been awarded a Gold at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. This recognition highlights the quality and craftsmanship of this Italian olive oil.
The oil is made exclusively from Frantoio olives, which are cultivated in calcareous and clay-rich soil at altitudes between 200 and 400 meters above sea level. The mechanical harvesting process ensures that the olives are pressed within 12 hours of picking, maintaining their freshness and quality.
The production process involves a continuous cold cycle extraction in an oxygen-free environment, followed by filtration and packaging. This meticulous method contributes to the oil’s distinguished characteristics. Fattoria le Sorgenti produces 30 quintals of this extra virgin olive oil annually, offering it in 500 ml and 250 ml bottles.
