Roots and Joy Blend, an extra vir­gin olive oil pro­duced in Greece, has been awarded a Silver medal at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. This pres­ti­gious event is known for rec­og­niz­ing the high­est qual­ity olive oils from around the world.

The Roots and Joy Blend is crafted by Roots and Joy, a fam­ily-run pro­ducer based in Greece. The blend is noted for its unique com­bi­na­tion of Koroneiki and Manaki olives, which are cold-pressed at the pro­duc­er’s mill and bot­tled on-site to ensure qual­ity.

This extra vir­gin olive oil is char­ac­ter­ized by its robust, fruity pro­file with a lively, pep­pery fin­ish. The blend’s dis­tinc­tive qual­i­ties are attrib­uted to the bold, pep­pery notes of Koroneiki olives and the smooth char­ac­ter­is­tics of Manaki olives.
