Zangrilli Antonio Secures Gold at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Recent News

Zangrilli Antonio, a farm based in Lazio, Italy, has achieved a Gold Award at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The award was given for their Zangrilli Itrana, a monovarietal extra virgin olive oil produced using the Itrana cultivar.

The NYIOOC, known as the World Olive Oil Competition, is a prestigious event that recognizes the highest quality olive oils from around the globe. Zangrilli Antonios entry stood out for its use of the Itrana cultivar, which is native to the region just south of Rome. This cultivar is known for providing a light and delicate flavor profile.

Zangrilli Antonio emphasizes quality by selecting only the highest-quality olives for their oil production, ensuring no additives or preservatives are used. This commitment to quality has been recognized at the World Olive Oil Competition, highlighting the farm’s dedication to producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

The recognition at the NYIOOC underscores the significance of traditional farming practices and the unique characteristics of regional cultivars like Itrana. Zangrilli Antonio’s success at the competition is a testament to the quality and distinctiveness of their olive oil production.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
