Last Days to Register for NYIOOC

Saturday is the last day olive oil brands can be reg­is­tered in the 2014 New York International Olive Oil Competition, where an inter­na­tional jury will once again award the year’s best olive oils from more than 600 entries.

Winners will be announced to the inter­na­tional media at a press con­fer­ence on April 10 from New York’s International Culinary Center and pub­li­cized all year through count­less media out­lets around the world.

Winning pro­duc­ers will gain access to a net­work of qual­ity-dri­ven dis­trib­u­tors and mer­chants who tap the com­pe­ti­tion results to stock their shelves.

March 15 will be the final day for pro­duc­ers and mar­keters to reg­is­ter their olive oil brands and par­tic­i­pate in this year’s event.

Curtis Cord, NYIOOC pres­i­dent and pub­lisher of Olive Oil Times, called the com­pe­ti­tion ​“the most pub­li­cized olive oil com­pe­ti­tion in the world, where win­ning com­pa­nies ben­e­fit from an unprece­dented year-long cam­paign to draw atten­tion to their achieve­ments.”
