The deadline to enter brands in the 2021 edition of the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition has been set to March 15.

Organizers of the world’s largest and most prestigious olive oil competition said the decision was made to end the registration period early in order to leave adequate time for producers, judges and technical teams to prepare for the contest.

Now in its ninth year, the event is expected to draw up to 1,000 entries from at least two dozen countries.

The awarded brands are featured on the Official Guide to the World’s Best Olive Oils, the popular website where each year millions of visitors explore extra virgin olive oils of the highest quality and the places to find them.

Producers, importers and distributors can enter their extra virgin olive oil brands on Producer Tools, the web application developed by the NYIOOC.
