Judging Concludes at World Olive Oil Competition
An interÂnaÂtional panel of experts evalÂuÂated over 900 olive oils at the World Olive Oil Competition in New York, with the results set to be revealed durÂing a press conÂferÂence tomorÂrow night. The unveilÂing of the award winÂners will be broadÂcast live and the winÂners will be listed in the NYIOOC’s offiÂcial Index of the World’s Best Olive Oils.
An interÂnaÂtional panel of experts conÂcluded five days of evalÂuÂatÂing over 900 olive oils today at the World Olive Oil Competition in New York.
The results will be revealed tomorÂrow night, May 10, durÂing a press conÂferÂence that will draw 200 olive oil proÂducÂers, retailÂers, disÂtribÂuÂtors, food indusÂtry proÂfesÂsionÂals and press.
The unveilÂing of the award winÂners will begin at 8:30 PM (Eastern U.S.), and wll be broadÂcast live.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the largest olive oil qualÂity conÂtest and its annual listÂing of award winÂners is widely conÂsidÂered the most trusted guide to the year’s best extra virÂgin olive oils.
Award winÂners will be listed in the NYIOOC’s offiÂcial Index of the World’s Best Olive Oils and many will be availÂable through the Best Olive Oils Marketplace, the online porÂtal where buyÂers can source the winÂning oils from retailÂers and disÂtribÂuÂtors who stock them.
