The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition has added three new sensory experts to its judging panel, enhancing the experience of the already prestigious team. The competition is set to begin on May 5 in New York, with results announced on May 10 via a live stream on Facebook and the NYIOOC website, eagerly anticipated by professionals in the industry worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition said it has added three sensory experts to its elite panel of judges: Mirella Zanetic from Croatia, Mahdi Fendri from Tunisia and Sandro Marques from Brazil.
“We’re proud to welcome these distinguished professionals to our judging team,” said Curtis Cord, the NYIOOC president and founder. “These new members add even more experience to our all-star panel of sensory experts.
The judging for the world’s most important olive oil competition is set to begin May 5 at the International Culinary Center in New York.
The results will be announced during a press conference on May 10 at 8:30 PM (Eastern U.S.) that will be streamed live via Facebook and the NYIOOC website. The results of the competition are followed by producers, importers, distributors chefs, food service professionals and journalists around the world.
