More than 820 brands from 26 countries are participating in the competition, with the winning oils being highly sought after by chefs, food buyers, and consumers for their quality.

Over 200 media and food industry professionals are expected at the sold-out press event, which includes a tasting of many of the winning oils.
More than 820 brands from 26 countries are participating in the competition, making it by far the largest of its kind.
The winning olive oils are coveted by chefs, food buyers and discerning consumers everywhere who value extra virgin olive oils of the very highest quality.
For the first time, many of the award-winners will be available to merchants and the general public through the Best Olive Oils Marketplace, an innovative platform developed by NYIOOC to help vendors who stock high-quality extra virgin olive oils reach the growing ranks of those who seek them.
The complete results of the competition will be presents on the Best Olive Oils website immediately following tonight’s announcement.
