Brief
The smokÂing point of olive oil is in the midÂdle among cookÂing oils and it is plenty high for almost all cookÂing, includÂing deep fryÂing — and in fact is a much healthÂier option. Any olive oil can be used to fry foods at norÂmal fryÂing temÂperÂaÂtures (deep fryÂing is 325 – 375°F). For very high-heat cookÂing at over 400°F, use another oil like sunÂflower.
