The U’Ciuri, which won a Gold Award, is made from the Nocellara del Belice culÂtiÂvar. It is noted as an IGP Sicilia organic extra virÂgin olive oil, resultÂing from a careÂful selecÂtion process conÂducted annuÂally by the comÂpany.
Verde, another Gold Award recipÂiÂent, is crafted from the Cerasuola culÂtiÂvar. This oil is charÂacÂterÂized by its fresh, vegÂeÂtal aroÂmas, remÂiÂnisÂcent of green almonds, letÂtuce, celÂery, and unripe bananas.
Miceli & Sensat operÂates an organic olive grove in Italy, spanÂning 115 hectares and housÂing 46,000 olive trees of five difÂferÂent variÂeties. The olives are processed within two hours of harÂvestÂing in the comÂpaÂny’s mill, and the oils are stored under conÂtrolled conÂdiÂtions to mainÂtain their qualÂity.
The winÂning brands are preÂsented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
