Rancho Milagro Achieves Recognition at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Recent News

Rancho Milagro, an olive oil producer located in the California hills south of Livermore, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The producer received a Gold Award for its Rancho Milagro Frantoio, a medium-intensity monovarietal extra virgin olive oil made from estate-grown Frantoio olives. Additionally, Rancho Milagro’s Field Blend earned a Silver Award. This blend combines oil from four olive varieties: Frantoio, Hojiblanca, Coratina, and Picual.

Rancho Milagro began its operations in 2013, planting four olive varieties and harvesting its first crop in 2016. The producer currently maintains approximately 3,000 trees across 16 hectares. The company distributes its olive oil to individuals, families, and wholesale customers, including restaurants, specialty shops, and wineries.

The NYIOOC is the largest and most prestigious olive oil competition globally, recognizing high-quality olive oils from producers around the world. Rancho Milagro’s achievements at the World Olive Oil Competition highlight its commitment to producing quality olive oils from its California estate.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
