Rancho Milagro, an olive oil proÂducer located in the California hills south of Livermore, has been recÂogÂnized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The proÂducer received a Gold Award for its Rancho Milagro Frantoio, a medium-intenÂsity monoÂvaÂriÂetal extra virÂgin olive oil made from estate-grown Frantoio olives. Additionally, Rancho Milagro’s Field Blend earned a Silver Award. This blend comÂbines oil from four olive variÂeties: Frantoio, Hojiblanca, Coratina, and Picual.
Rancho Milagro began its operÂaÂtions in 2013, plantÂing four olive variÂeties and harÂvestÂing its first crop in 2016. The proÂducer curÂrently mainÂtains approxÂiÂmately 3,000 trees across 16 hectares. The comÂpany disÂtribÂutes its olive oil to indiÂvidÂuÂals, famÂiÂlies, and wholeÂsale cusÂtomers, includÂing restauÂrants, speÂcialty shops, and winerÂies.
