Olive oil is pro­duced in some Southern Hemisphere coun­tries includ­ing Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, among oth­ers. The over­all vol­ume is much smaller than Northern Hemisphere pro­duc­tion, but it is grow­ing and there are many high-qual­ity oils com­ing from south­ern regions.
