Primo DOP Monti Iblei, pro­duced by Frantoi Cutrera, has been awarded a Gold at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. This recog­ni­tion high­lights the qual­ity and excel­lence of the olive oil, which is crafted from Tonda Iblea olives.

The olive oil is the flag­ship prod­uct of Frantoi Cutrera, a com­pany based in Italy. The Tonda Iblea olives used in its pro­duc­tion are har­vested in late September and early October. Primo DOP Monti Iblei was the first Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) olive oil from the Monti Iblei region and is known for its dis­tinc­tive tomato aroma and har­monic bal­ance.

Primo DOP Monti Iblei has received numer­ous awards over the years, solid­i­fy­ing its rep­u­ta­tion as one of the most rec­og­nized olive oils glob­ally. The recent Gold award at the NYIOOC fur­ther cements its sta­tus in the inter­na­tional olive oil com­mu­nity.
