What is Rastrello Single Family by Rastrello?

Recent News

Rastrello Single Family, an extra virgin olive oil produced by Rastrello, has been awarded a Gold at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. This prestigious event is recognized globally for identifying the highest quality olive oils.

The olive oil is crafted from a blend of Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, Dolce Agogia, Rosciola dell’Umbria, and Nero di Panicale olives. These olives are hand-picked from a family farm in Umbria, Italy, where most of the 2,000 trees are approximately 400 years old. This heritage blend is a testament to the farm’s long-standing tradition in olive oil production.

Rastrello Single Family is produced using cold extraction methods, ensuring the preservation of its natural flavors and nutritional properties. The farm is certified organic and holds the Colle del Trasimeno Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), which guarantees the authenticity and quality of the product.

Operating as a traditional farm, Rastrello relies primarily on natural irrigation methods. This approach, combined with the age and variety of the olive trees, contributes to the unique characteristics of the oil.

The recognition at the NYIOOC highlights the exceptional quality of Rastrello Single Family, placing it among the top extra virgin olive oils in the world.
