Calistoga Press Wins Silver at NYIOOC

Recent News

Calistoga Press, a family-owned olive oil producer located in the heart of Napa Valley, has been awarded a Silver at the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC). The company is recognized for its extra virgin olive oil, which features a predominance of Manzanillo olives with a touch of Italian varieties.

Operating in the United States, Calistoga Press is home to a small grove of 140 olive trees. The unique climate of Calistoga, characterized by hot, sunny days and cool nights, contributes to the quality of their olives. For the past decade, the company has produced just under 100 gallons of certified extra virgin olive oil annually.

Calistoga Press emphasizes quality and freshness by harvesting olives by hand when many are still green and milling them within a day. This method ensures the production of high-quality olive oil, which has now been recognized on an international stage at the NYIOOC.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
