Château d’Estoublon, a historic estate located in the heart of the Alpilles massif in France, has achieved notable success at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The estate’s extra virgin olive oils received several accolades, highlighting its commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
The Château d’Estoublon AOP Blend, an organic extra virgin olive oil, was awarded a Gold Award. This blend features five green olive varieties: Grossane, Beruguette, Salonenque, Picholine, and Bouteillan. Additionally, the Château d’Estoublon Bouteillan, a single-variety extra virgin olive oil, also received a Gold Award, showcasing the distinct characteristics of the Bouteillan cultivar.
Further recognition was given to the Château d’Estoublon Salonenque, another single-variety extra virgin olive oil, which earned a Gold Award for its fruity green profile. The Château d’Estoublon Béruguette, made from the Aglandau cultivar, was awarded a Silver Award at the World Olive Oil Competition.
Château d’Estoublon has been producing olive oils since 1489, with all olives pressed in the estate’s own mill to maintain complete control over production. The awards from the NYIOOC underscore the estate’s dedication to producing high-quality olive oils that reflect the unique flavors of the individual fruit.
