Brief
Frantoio del Parco, based in Italy, has been recÂogÂnized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, securÂing a Gold and a Silver award for its organic extra virÂgin olive oils. The estate, located between Rispescia and Alberese in the Maremma Natural Park, spans over 200 hectares and is home to approxÂiÂmately 30,000 olive trees.
The Gold Award was given to Frantoio del Parco​’s ​‘Edizione Limitata XIII Canto’, an organic PGI extra virÂgin olive oil. This oil is dedÂiÂcated to Canto XIII of Dante’s Inferno and is proÂduced from a clasÂsic Tuscan blend.
The Silver Award was awarded to ​‘Villa Granducale’, another organic PGI-cerÂtiÂfied Tuscan extra virÂgin olive oil. This oil is proÂduced from the Frantoio culÂtiÂvar and origÂiÂnates from the hisÂtoric Villa Granducale, a site known for its picÂturesque locaÂtion on a hill in the Maremma region, once the resÂiÂdence of the Grand Dukes.
Frantoio del Parco’s comÂmitÂment to organic proÂducÂtion and advanced proÂcessÂing techÂniques has been acknowlÂedged through these accoÂlades at the World Olive Oil Competition.
