Brief
Frantoio del Parco, based in Italy, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, securing a Gold and a Silver award for its organic extra virgin olive oils. The estate, located between Rispescia and Alberese in the Maremma Natural Park, spans over 200 hectares and is home to approximately 30,000 olive trees.
The Gold Award was given to Frantoio del Parco’s ‘Edizione Limitata XIII Canto’, an organic PGI extra virgin olive oil. This oil is dedicated to Canto XIII of Dante’s Inferno and is produced from a classic Tuscan blend.
The Silver Award was awarded to ‘Villa Granducale’, another organic PGI-certified Tuscan extra virgin olive oil. This oil is produced from the Frantoio cultivar and originates from the historic Villa Granducale, a site known for its picturesque location on a hill in the Maremma region, once the residence of the Grand Dukes.
Frantoio del Parco’s commitment to organic production and advanced processing techniques has been acknowledged through these accolades at the World Olive Oil Competition.
