Fratelli Fiore's Parco delle Lamie Triumphs at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Recent News

Fratelli Fiore, an olive farm based in the north of Bari, Italy, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition with a Gold Award for its Parco delle Lamie extra virgin olive oil. This award-winning oil is produced from the Coratina cultivar, known for its bitter and spicy flavor, attributed to a high concentration of polyphenols — approximately 300 percent higher than other varieties.

The farm, which spans 22 hectares of organic farming in the countryside of Grumo Appula, has been managed by three generations of the Fiore family. The Parco delle Lamie district, from which the olive oil derives its name, is noted for its suitability for olive cultivation.

The NYIOOC, one of the most prestigious competitions in the olive oil industry, recognizes excellence in olive oil production worldwide. Fratelli Fiore’s achievement at the World Olive Oil Competition underscores the quality and distinctiveness of its organic farming practices and the unique characteristics of its Parco delle Lamie extra virgin olive oil.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
