Laconiko, a proÂducer of extra virÂgin olive oil from Greece, has been recÂogÂnized with mulÂtiÂple awards at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The comÂpany, known for its dedÂiÂcaÂtion to qualÂity and famÂily herÂitage, received accoÂlades for sevÂeral of its prodÂucts.
The Laconiko olive oil, made from the Koroneiki culÂtiÂvar, was awarded a Gold Award. This prodÂuct is noted for being the result of efforts by brothÂers Dino and Diamantis Pierrakos to preÂserve their famÂily legacy through qualÂity olive oil proÂducÂtion.
Another Gold Award was given to Laconiko Kambos, also made from the Koroneiki culÂtiÂvar. This olive oil is described as reflectÂing the ferÂtile land of the southÂern Peloponnese, with aroÂmas of green leaf and freshly cut grass.
In addiÂtion, Laconiko’s Olio Nuovo Reserve received a Silver Award. This olive oil is proÂduced from sinÂgle-estate Koroneiki olives, hand-picked in Trinisa, Laconia, near the sandy beaches of the southÂern Peloponnese.
Laconiko ZOI, made from the Kalamata culÂtiÂvar, also earned a Silver Award. This prodÂuct is highÂlighted for its oleoÂcanÂthal-rich Kalamon olive variÂety, harÂvested and proÂduced under high stanÂdards by the Pierrakos brothÂers.
