Marciano Estate Celebrates Gold at NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition

Recent News

Marciano Estate, based in the United States, has been recognized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition with a Gold Award for its Organic Italian Blend. This accolade underscores the quality of the olive oils produced from their Napa Valley grove, which was established in 2006.

The Marciano Estate olive grove features a diverse range of cultivars, including Italian varieties such as Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Nocellara, and Coratina, as well as Spanish types like Arbequina, Manzanillo, and Empeltre, in addition to the Mission variety. All olives are hand-harvested and processed in the estate’s mill under hypo-oxidative conditions.

The award-winning Organic Italian Blend is crafted from a selection of Italian cultivars, specifically Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Nocellara, and Coratina. This blend was recognized at the World Olive Oil Competition for its quality and adherence to organic production standards.

The NYIOOC is the most prestigious competition in the olive oil industry, attracting entries from producers worldwide. Marciano Estate’s achievement at this event highlights their commitment to producing high-quality olive oil from their Napa Valley location.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
