Similarly, the Marcum Olive Coratina also earned a Gold Award. This extra virgin olive oil is made from 100-percent Marcum estate Coratina olives, which are also sustainably grown and hand-picked before being pressed within four hours.
Marcum Olive Oil emphasizes sustainable practices in its production process. Their organic Tuscan olive varieties are grown without the use of weed killers or toxic chemicals, promoting a healthy soil balance and protecting surrounding wildlife, including five honey-producing bee hives. The olives are harvested and processed on the Central Coast of California.
