Pietre al Monte, a pri­vate estate nes­tled in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, has been rec­og­nized at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The estate’s Gran Riserva extra vir­gin olive oil (EVOO) received a Gold Award, high­light­ing the qual­ity of its blend made from the Leccino, Frantoio, and Moraiolo cul­ti­vars.

Located at an alti­tude of 1,640 feet, Pietre al Monte ben­e­fits from a unique micro­cli­mate and ter­roir, con­tribut­ing to the dis­tinct char­ac­ter­is­tics of its olive oil. The Gran Riserva, crafted from cul­ti­vars native to the region, stood out among entries at the World Olive Oil Competition, show­cas­ing the estate’s ded­i­ca­tion to pro­duc­ing high-qual­ity olive oil.
