Recent News

Aceites Garcia de la Cruz, a distinguished olive oil producer from Spain, has achieved significant recognition at the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC). The company secured two Gold Awards for its organic extra virgin olive oils, highlighting its commitment to quality and sustainable practices.

The winning entries from Aceites Garcia de la Cruz include the ‘Master Miller Garcia de la Cruz,’ which received a Gold Award in the Organic category. This olive oil is made from the Arbequina cultivar and is noted for being produced from groves that are free of fertilizers and chemical pesticides.

Another Gold Award was granted to ‘Garcia de la Cruz Organic Essential,’ also in the Organic category. This extra virgin olive oil is crafted from the Cornicabra cultivar and is recognized for its blend of different organic olive varieties.

The Garcia de la Cruz family has been involved in olive cultivation since 1872, spanning five generations dedicated to enhancing the quality of their olive oil. Their longstanding tradition and expertise in olive oil production have been instrumental in achieving these accolades at the NYIOOC.

The NYIOOC is the most prestigious olive oil competition globally, attracting entries from producers worldwide. The awards received by Aceites Garcia de la Cruz underscore the company’s excellence in producing high-quality, organic extra virgin olive oils.

The winning brands are presented in the Official Guide and the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
